What’s the experience like?

“Don’t worry, I’ll be right outside with the sign,” our driver told me on WhatsApp, which honestly felt like a small relief after my flight. The arrivals hall at SJU was humming — people waving, some hugging, the usual swirl of voices in Spanish and English. I spotted him easily (big smile, holding my name), and he greeted me with a “Bienvenido a Puerto Rico!” that actually made me grin back. The car’s AC hit different after the sticky heat outside.

I always get a little anxious about taxis in new cities, but this San Juan airport transfer was just… smooth.
