Ever tried finding a cab outside Brooklyn Cruise Port after a long trip? Yeah, that was me last week — bags in hand, drizzle in the air, and this low-level worry about missing my flight at Newark. I didn’t expect him to help with my bags all the way to the curb at EWR — but he did, and even waited while I checked if my flight gate had changed. Small thing, but it mattered. No fussing with cash or tips either since everything was prepaid. Looking back, I still think about that weird mix of tiredness and relief stepping into that clean car after all the noise at port.
