What’s the experience like?

I’ll be honest — I almost bailed on the idea of a private photo session in Charleston. Felt a bit awkward at first, like, do we really need someone following us around with a camera? But then our photographer (her name was Emily) met us right at Rainbow Row and instantly put us at ease. The last stop was Waterfront Park by the Pineapple Fountain. There were kids running through the spray and you could hear church bells somewhere off behind us. Emily caught these moments when we forgot about the camera entirely — I swear those are my favorite shots. She sent us ten edited photos later that week (way better than anything I’ve managed on my phone), and now every time I see them I remember how relaxed we actually felt that afternoon.
