What’s the experience like?

We stepped onto the TwentyFive catamaran in Los Cabos and I immediately noticed how everyone loosened up—maybe it was the sea air or just the way the crew greeted us. Our guide, Javier, pointed out Land’s End as we cruised along that “Rich & Famous” shoreline (he actually winked when he said it). I tried to take a photo of Lover’s Beach but my sunglasses fogged up—classic. The granite cliffs really do look like they’re melting into the water. There was this salty breeze mixed with something almost sweet from the kitchen below; I didn’t expect to be hungry already.

After about 40 minutes, we anchored in this ridiculously clear bay—I think Javier called it a Blue Flag spot. He handed out snorkel gear and reminded us to watch for pufferfish (I saw one and nearly swallowed half the Sea of Cortez). The water was cooler than I thought but honestly refreshing after sitting in the sun. Someone from our group tried to do a cannonball off the side and totally chickened out last second, which made everyone laugh. There was music playing softly but you could still hear pelicans squabbling over fish scraps near Pelican Rock.

Lunch was served right on deck—grilled shrimp tacos and some kind of spicy salsa that made my nose run (in a good way). The open bar kept appearing at just the right moment; I stuck with margaritas because, well, when in Cabo. At some point, I just lay back and watched sunlight flicker on the water while people chatted around me. It felt like time got weirdly slow out there. On the way back, someone spotted a whale spout off in the distance—Javier got genuinely excited and so did we. Still think about that view sometimes.
