“Don’t worry, I’ll be right there with your name,” our driver said on WhatsApp the night before we landed in Bangkok. I hadn’t even thought about how chaotic Suvarnabhumi could get after a long flight, but seeing him standing just past arrivals, holding my name (spelled almost right), was honestly such a relief. He greeted us with this little bow and handed over cold towels—my daughter pressed hers to her face and just sighed.
